Education & Human Development

Education and Human Development encompasses a wide range of disciplines and career pathways, including early care and education, preschool and childcare programs, elementary and secondary education, special education, educational administration, school psychology, adaptive physical education, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, child and family advocacy, child life specialists, counseling and social work. Employment in the human services sector is broadly defined and multidisciplinary but has at its core a focus on human relationships, prevention and remediation of problems, and a commitment to improving overall quality of life.
