Paying for college
Before worrying about how you are going to pay for college, make sure you know which one you want to attend. The good news is, the 10 community colleges in San Diego and Imperial Counties are the least expensive in the nation. If you are a California resident, Career Education training is just $46 per unit. If you are a not a California resident, each community college district has different fees for out-of-state residents. Contact the admissions office of the college you are interested in attending to get the specific payment requirements and options.
Keep in mind there are other costs associated with Career Education, including books, supplies, transportation, food and housing, but we work to remove or reduce financial barriers.
Some ways costs can be lowered include applying for federal and state aid, which can include grants, loans, work study opportunities or fee waivers.
